The "House Car" trip

The day after Christmas (around 3am) we got in the car and headed to Atlanta.  We rode in Gramma's van to go pick up the RV.

The trip there was great.  The girls traveled so well.

Kevin inspecting the RV and finding out how it all worked.

The girls were so excited.

Kevin was a little nervous driving.  He said it felt like a toaster on wheels!

Luckily Kate took a little nap for most of the way from Atlanta to Huntsville.  The RV had 3 seatbelts and 1 carseat hook up.

Sweet baby toes

It took us a lot longer than we hoped to get to Kim's house, but eventually we made it.  After we ate dinner we opened the presents from all the cousins.

Nathan and Gramma

The headbands made by Beth

Katie especially loved the box

She had to share with Pepper though

The next morning Pepper worked out with Kim and Mike

Me, Alice, and Hazel

Vegging in front of the tv (Alice, Ben, Jane, Mikayla, Jacob, and Morgan)

Some of my favorite pictures were the ones of the kids in the battery powered car

Love this one of Ben

We all got to go watch Nathan in action at the Hockey game.  He gets to throw the t-shirts to the crowds and helps out between periods.  (Sorry if the lingo is wrong.  I don't know much about hockey).

Nathan skating

Papa, Alice, Mikayla, Jane, and Gramma dancing to YMCA

Ben and Jane

Going down the litle hill

Kate so excited to be on the trampoline

Jane helping her bounce

Kim and Nathan with the RV outside Kim's house.  It was so much fun to spend some time together with everyone.  Kim's house is a great place for getting together.

Back in the RV headed to Jellystone park in Madison, FL

Jane slept some of the way

Hoping to get there soon
We arrived there at bedtime.  So we got all bundled in and went to sleep.

Jane and Alice slept on the bunk above the driver's seat.

Jane in the morning eating a yummy poptart and making a funny face

Kate so excited to be outside

The little house at the playground

So cute.  Who let the 1 year old drive?

Kevin went for a jog before breakfast and showed up while we were playing at the playground.

Jane can do the monkey bars now.  Such a big girl.

Alice and Jane helping their babydoll play too.

Alice trying on the wigs at the little shop

Relaxing on the front porch

Free mini-golf

There was only 1 long pole, so I got one of the mini ones.  I was so excited because this course actually had moving obstacles.  Not many do anymore.  So fun.

Kate making sure I didn't get a hole in one.

My all time favorite, make me laugh, picture.  Alice taking off her longsleeve shirt!

After lunch we headed to the lakes to take a paddle boat ride

The paddle boat didn't work (plus Alice did not want to go near the water)

So Kevin took Jane out on the kayak

That morning Kate fell of the couch in the RV right on the step and put a dent in her forehead.  It's still dented.  I hope it eventually goes away.  Poor kid.

Kate and Jane on the seesaw (and this is how she injures herself.  We're good parents really!)

The bathroom in the RV.  The shower was tiny.

Kevin took Jane and Alice on a hayride that evening.

Sweet tv

Such a cutie pie

And there is the step she hit with her forehead

The trip from Madison to Orlando, was a bit rough.  Kate was done traveling.  So when she was awake.  She wasn't really happy.  But we made it.

And there is all the stuff in the back of the van.

We cleaned it out and said goodbye.  What a fun trip and great memories.  Thanks, Daddy (Kevin), for setting it all up and for doing all the driving, all the manual labor, and getting up so early and packing us all up and starting down the road.  You are my hero.  What a great ending to a wonderful year!

Such fun pics and memories. You need to send me your pics from Kim's because it seems I took all of three pics!
