I'll comment and add video tomorrow.
Ok, so now that it is a week later! We had a fun Halloween. Our ward didn't throw a Halloween party, or do a trunk or treat this year, so I decided to do my own trunk or treat. It was a huge success. And my kind of prep for a party. All I did was set a time, date, and location. Everybody showed up and had fun! And no clean up!
Jane and Alice sampling the goodies.
(The pictures will be out of order. I don't know of an easy way to fix it, so sorry)
A "tropical storm" somebody failed to notify us all about. Seriously, I have no idea what type of storm it was, but it rained all weekend and the wind blew hard. So to get out of the house, the girls put on their swimsuits and played in the driveway, while Kate and I watched from the dry garage.

Daddy was out of town for a bit, so Jane wanted to make sure he saw her painted butterfly. She wanted to keep it on for 2 more days until Kevin got home, but I said, "Why don't we just take a picture and then you can show it to Daddy." She agreed to do that. Whew!
Each month we attend the temple with our friends the Smiths and the Middletons. Our little group has grown with the births of many babies, since we started this when Jane was a month old. Our newest addition is baby Eve. And Kate loves babies.
Kate giving Eve loves. Now the Smiths have proof of what we do to their children while their in the temple!
One of our pineapple plants finally grew a pineapple. We were so excited. Jane and Kate showing off the pineapple. In fact we a little too excited and it wasn't quite ripe enough, but next time we will get to try it.
Our pumpkin patch trip
Jane found a big one
Our whole family. Yes, we are in shorts and flip flops and pink for our fall picture, but hey, we live in Florida! We can do that.
So smiley!
She loved the pumpkins too.
Jane actually participating and doing exactly what Miss Kimberely asked her to do.
Storytime at the library
More pictures of the trunk or treat.
Jane was a fairy princess. Super easy!
Kate didn't want Jane to go to school.
Jane's pumpkin. She designed it, cut it out, and colored it all herself. Such a great job.
Alice was a witch (a mean witch)
Too cute.
The end of the night.
I love to do themes, but Jane and Alice had their own ideas, so Kevin, Kate, and I were, Olive Oyl, Popeye, and Sweet Pea.
Thanks to my Dad for the perfect boots!!! I emailed him and asked if he still had his old army boots, and of course he did. Sweet!
Little miss Sweet Pea. She was perfect.
A little video to show the costumes a bit better.
Kate is walking now. She is even almost running. She loves to open and shut her door and walk in and out. It is too cute.
