This week...

I have such a handy husband, who I am truly grateful for. While we were waiting for Daddy to come home from work, Jane and I did some swinging on the backyard swing Kevin rigged up. She LOVED it! She especially loved the "whoa's" I said as we would swing out of control or almost hit the tree. (It's a whole lot easier to swing on that swing when you're not pregnant!)

When Daddy came home, he joined us, but not for long (swinging is not his favorite pasttime due to motion sickness).

Jane even got to swing on her own. She didn't like that as much. Such a big girl.

3 months old

Not that I haven't been posting a million pictures already, but hey, I think my girls are adorable. Anyway, here is what Alice can do at 3 months. She loves to reach for and hold the fish, but she can also swing herself around. I layed her with her head under the fish, feet under the ball and she wound up like this, sideways. It made me laugh. She just wanted to see what Jane and I were up to.

Jane wanted to see herself in the camera, so I took a picture. Her smile is coming a lot easier and quicker these days.

Kevin and I are trying to get Jane in a toddler bed. She doesn't even try to climb out of her crib or anything. Plus we most likely won't put Alice in the crib for another 3 to 4 months, but we were wondering if anybody has any suggestions to try, since we have a little time to play with. We put the bed in her room one night next to the crib and she wanted nothing to do with it. Now it is in another room and she'll sit on it and stuff, but no real interest. Thanks for any suggestions or tips.

A little Music...

When Kevin got home from work on Saturday, yes he had to work on Saturday, along with all the other Harris employees to make up for Tropical Fay days, anyway, he took Jane for a run while I finished my French Horn lesson. When they came home, Jane was sporting the ipod. She listened to at least 5 songs and was loving it. Her little foot was tapping. It was too cute. And yes, she did go out in public in just her diaper, shirt, and shoes. The signs only say, no shoes, no shirt, no service. Pants are optional!

Then that evening we went to a wedding reception for a lady in our ward. Here's a little video of Kevin showing Jane how to do the Twist. She did a great job. We all had a wonderful evening at Darlene and Thane's wedding reception.

We also got a cute video of Jane and her friend Sami doing some dancing as well, but I had a hard time uploading it. Maybe another day. Here's a picture of the cuteness though.

Some recent photos...

She's getting so chubby. I love it!
Such a pretty girl!
I put a ponytail in Jane's hair at the park to keep the wind from blowing it in her face. (She'll let me do that). And in the car she took it out. It looked so stylish when we got home, so I took a quick picture. And I mean, you have to be quick if you want to capture that adorable, crooked smile.

Once again...

I left Kevin home alone with Jane because I had a Primary inservice meeting and when I came home, Kevin told me to go see Jane inside. As I walked in the door, all I saw was a cute little ponytail watching Mary Poppins. Once again, Kevin managed to do Jane's hair. He did a good job too. Here are a couple of pictures.
