Watching movies

Here's how I found Jane watching Aladdin this evening. We had a wonderful day of fun and outdoors. Our ward had their annual Memorial Day barbecue this afternoon and then we went to another park in the evening. Jane just couldn't get enough of the slide. Although she rarely goes down them. I think it is just the word she associates with the park that I understand. I didn't let her watch tv all day, which after having spent a week sick and that's all we did, it was major withdrawals for her. So I promised a movie when we got home. She has learned how to lounge in style.

Look at those cute toes. It cracked me up seeing them peek over the coffee table.

Baby toes, who doesn't love them!!!!

The Rest of our Trip...

The wedding reception at the church on Friday night. This is the only picture I took of the bride and groom. Sorry you guys! Valene also made the picture (Kevin's mom).

All the sisters and sisters in law wore peach shirts, so Jane got a little peach dress to match. It was perfect. She has a mouth full of graham crackers in this picture, that's why she's smiling!

Kevin, the secret agent/bodyguard, Oh so sexy!!!

Bubbles

We discovered on our last trip to Utah in February, that Jane loves her Uncle Steve's big truck. As I lay inside on the couch bemoaning my fate of being sick, the others were playing outside. Jane loved it. We also got some video and Jane loves to watch it over and over. She had a fun time in the truck. Thanks, Steve, for being a great uncle.

She's trying her hardest to pull down the back

All the hooks had to be down, or else it was her mission to put them down

"And a bow for extra beauty"

While Jane was occupied, Aunt Karlene snuck a clip in her hair. She never looked at the camera, but it was very cute. She was more excited about the stretchy frog.

So Sick!

The poor little thing got sick yesterday and after she threw up for the fourth time, crashed on the couch. She never just falls asleep like that, so you know she wasn't feeling well (the throwing up tipped me off too, but you know, whatever).

I still have more pictures of our trip, since the couch one was here in Florida, so don't worry, they'll be coming soon.

I have to pee!

This is Jane saying, "I have to pee," which soon thereafter she did and a diaper change was necessary. She cracks me up and is such a big girl.

Sorry these pictures will be out of order, but I only have so much time and today was a very long day!

Our Trip to Utah

Well, as some of you know and as some may not, Jane and I headed off to Utah last Wed, the 14th. We had a wonderful first few days, and then sickness set in. It went through and is still going through the whole family. Needless to say, we still had a great time and were so excited to see Daddy!!!! We also were able to go to Trista and Taylor's wedding and Chamaine's baby shower. We hope you enjoy the pictures of our trip. It was beautiful in Utah. Kevin and I miss the mountains and the fresh, dry air.

The First Few Days...

Ok, well, I didn't take any pictures of the actual plane ride, but here is one of Jane reading her new book for the flight. She loves her princesses!
We flew from Melbourne to Atlanta and then to Salt Lake. Once in Salt Lake we waited for Kevin to get in from Pheonix. Jane enjoyed the little play place at the Salt Lake airport. She dropped all the toys though, when I said, "Daddy is here, let's go get him!"

Thursday we relaxed, ran errands, and Kevin and I took a little time and went to the Jordan River Temple. It was very nice and great that we still could make it to the temple together in May, even though he is away for business. Thursday evening we all went to the Groom's dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Kevin, Jane and I rode Trax in. She was so excited to ride the train and very upset when we finally got off and it left without her. She stood there and kept touching her chest as if to say, "You forgot me, I want to ride, you forgot me!"

Friday was Trista's wedding ceremony. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a wonderful ceremony and I learned a lot. So very peaceful in the temple. Outside, I have never seen the grounds look so beautiful. Jane loves to smell flowers, so we took some time, and many pictures of her doing just that.

Yes, that is my belly in the background. I know, I know, I don't look 8 months pregnant.

She had to bend down really low to smell those ones!

She looked so happy to smell and touch the flowers

She dropped a couple petals into the flower

Bath Night, Bath Night...

Picture Jane bopping down the hall to those words. She is too cute!
I almost got her smiling at me. We're looking at buying a faster camera. It's not me, I swear.

"I drank some water, but ha, you didn't get a picture of me doing it!"

Thanks Jane, for doing it one more time so Mommy could get a picture!

So this is Jane singing (I haven't figured out how to get sound on my video feature on my camera and Kevin is not here to show me). We watched the Little Mermaid tonight, so all through her bath she was singing like Ariel, the "Aa aa ah, aa aa ah..." It was the cutest thing. She looks so serious as she's doing it too!

That was our bath night tonight.

I Tried...

Kevin, I tried to get her sitting on the potty with her diaper on, but when I went to take the picture, she put the bear in front of her diaper. But she did say cheese and looked so cute, that I had to post this picture. Oh, for the rest of you, Jane lets me know when she needs to use the bathroom. I however do not have the energy to fully potty train her yet, so we do what we can. So far in the last two days, she has told me she needs to pee (poop is not a separate word yet) and then she runs to her toilet and sits on it. When she comes out of the bathroom she is a stinky girl and very proud of herself for going on the potty. I still have to change her diaper, but it's not that bad. This picture was first thing when she woke up this morning.

Pictures for Daddy

I took these pictures just for Kevin. Yep, this is Jane enjoying her before bed snack while watching Bambi. Notice, not once could I get her to look at me or smile. She did however let me comb her hair. Distraction is a wonderful thing.

Sticker Fun

Jane and I made a little card for Grandma today. However, the stickers sometimes didn't quite make it on the page. Jane discovered that they stuck quite nicely to her belly. She even got Grandma to stick one to her belly and then check it out in the mirror (Grandma refused to pose for that shot). And yes, that is a pile of laundry next to Jane. It did get folded later on.
