So I am still in tears off and on, since Kevin left this afternoon. He will be gone for work in California for a month. Luckily and hopefully he will be home right before the baby is due (as long as the baby comes on time and not too early!) Here are some fun pictures of Jane and Kevin at the airport, spending time together. She loves her daddy so much and will miss him tremendously while he is away. We should see him in two weeks though out in Utah when we fly out for Trista's wedding (Kevin's little sister). And yes, the doctor is letting me fly!!!

Happy Birthday, Kevin!!!
We celebrated Kevin's 32nd birthday on Monday. Yep, he's getting old. Just kidding. Somehow, I think we'll always feel 23 inside. Anyway, we had a great day. Yes, Kevin had to go to work and yes he was extremely busy, but Jane and I stopped by and said hi. We sang to him and wished him a happy birthday. When he got home from class we celebrated with a tres leches cake, cards, and presents. It was a wonderful evening. Yes, I know the candle is a 5, but 3 + 2 = 5, so it works. (It was the only candle I could find lying around the house, thanks to my nephew Joshua's birthday.)
The presents
Jane helping her Daddy open the cards. She took and held onto the check. She already knows what the good stuff is! I thought it was a very sweet picture. Thanks Grandma for the card and the check! Jane and I made a little scrapbook for Kevin of some pictures from the last few months. It turned out pretty cute and he loves it, which is the most important part.

Smiles and Kisses
Jane has just started playing with her baby dolls. She loves to cart them around the house and wrap them up in their blankets. She also enjoys feeding them whatever she is eating (I try to discourage the sticky stuff, but crackers are ok) and drinking. Kisses are also a must. I sat down to the piano the other night and she sat down in her chair, holding her baby, and started singing. It was too precious. Great big sister, here we come!

Bump of the Month!
Here is what I am looking like these days. I only have 2 months left. I've gained a little over 20 pounds so far. With Jane I gained 50 lbs, so running after a toddler keeps you slimmer. That is for sure. Anyway, these pictures are especially for you Beth. I saw a cute picture of a pregnant mom and a little girl both showing their bellies, but I decided not to even try to get Jane to cooperate. We'll see if I change my mind.

Jane's hair
So Jane rarely lets me touch her hair. Kevin has to chase her around the house to comb it after her bath. Well, if we get something in her hair, she'll actually leave it in just long enough for her to run down the hall and look at herself in the full length mirror. Tonight I caught her off guard while she was glued to a movie and I got pigtails in her hair. Needless to say, they lasted long enough to get a "cheese" smile from her, but she wouldn't look at me.

Finally!
Yes, I finally decided to start a blog. I really don't like doing things that everyone else is doing (it's a pride thing), but I decided it was a great way to stay in touch without uploading pictures and emailing a bunch of people. Anyway, so here's our humble blog.
A little history...

Kevin and I will celebrate our 3rd anniversary in July. We met here in Florida 3 weeks after I came home from my mission. Kevin's version is that I was checking him out, my version, is that he was checking me out (tall, blonde!). Anyway, we dated for a little bit, ha, ha!!! 2 years I stalked him and he finally agreed to marry me! That's the short version. We were sealed in the Jordan River temple and now have a beautiful daughter named Jane and we are going to have another little one in June. Life is wonderful and we are loving living in Florida.
