Here are a few discoveries for the new school year
First, we discovered that Kate really loves sand. She was downing it by the fist fulls. So I realized she was not allowed to sit there anymore. I even retrieved a little white seashell out of her mouth that she had been sucking on for a while. At least she knew she wasn't supposed to swallow it. She's my first kid who has eaten sand. So nasty!
Jane loves (well most of the time) Kindergarten. She was so excited her first day of school.
She has an awesome teacher, but is still struggling to make good friends and gets frustrated when her classmates don't listen and the whole class has to suffer.
She did get a "golden ticket" though on Friday and got to eat with her teacher along with some other students. She said they were all big kids. She is one terrific "big" girl!
Next I discovered that you can fit 2 kids in one baby swing. However, I saw a lady do it and thought, why have I never thought of this. Then I put my two kids in and realized that Kate was a lot chubbier than the other ladies' kids. It still worked though. Alice was a good sport about it. And the other little girl in the background is Clarabelle, who we get to hang out with everyday while her mommy works. She is a fantastic little helper.
Jane loves soccer and looks good playing it!
I need to find my kindergarten soccer picture and post that too. Jane is so much cuter. My pants came up to my chest. I don't know why my mom had this need to tuck everything in.
So cute. I love the attitude!
We also discovered that Alice loves ballet. It is so fun to watch her do something new. I'm so used to Jane doing everything, that it is fun and new to watch Alice learn.
Such a pretty ballerina!
We love to play! All the girls on the swings.
Sorry so short, but at least it is something. I love my girls!
Kate is almost walking. She started crawling on Jane's birthday, Aug 9th, and cruises all around the furniture and has even taken a couple of steps. Crazy kid.

Alice is an adorable ballerina! Jane looks like she is having fun in school. I had no idea you could fit two kids in one seing either! If i did that Colin and Yale would just hit each other the whole time!
Whoops i meant to type swing not seing
Such fun pictures! You HAVE to post your soccer pic next to Jane's because I know what it looks like and the rest of the world needs to enjoy that as well:) Pepper saw the picture of Alice and said, "Pepper is a ballerina." I said, "No, that's Alice." Pepper got very defensive and kept saying it was her. I guess they can't even tell themselves apart.
Both Violet and Lucia love eating sand?!?!? It is gross but I guess the salty taste is yummy. I can't believe Jane is in Kindergarten now! Love the ballerina outfit Alice is wearing. :)
