The day before we left for Utah was the worst day in lovebug history. Or at least, that's how I felt. I drove to and from Rockledge (1/2 hour trip on the freeway), and this is what our new van ended up looking like. I could barely see out of the windshield. Knowing that I could not leave these acidic bugs on my car for 5 days, I had to wash it before we left. Just one more thing to add to my packed day. It was truly disgusting!

After staying up till around midnight and having to get up at 2am to be at the airport by 4, we arrived in Salt Lake. The girls slept most of the way! As soon as we landed, Grandma and Papa Terry, along with Steve, Valerie, and Kyle, were there to greet us at baggage return. We loaded up the cars and headed to Ogden to visit Kevin's grandmother in an assisted living place.
After the very nice visit, we headed to her home, (Kevin lived in their basement all through college. They live right next to Weber State). Here are some pictures of the girls enjoying the cooler weather and the lush grass in the backyard.

As you can see (well maybe), the skies were not so friendly. I love the mountains. Valerie is chasing Kyle around.
Kevin, poor man, had to work that day. He was on a conference call for well over 2 hours, while the rest of us enjoyed the outdoors and visiting. Luckily the next time he tried to use his computer it didn't work, so he was forced to truly be on vacation!!!!
Oh, and by the way, if you don't already know, Kevin and I are expecting baby #3 due on December 7th. We are very excited and so are the girls. Jane tells everyone there is a baby in Mommy's tummy and Alice likes to pat my belly and remind me that there is a baby in my tummy too, but not Daddy's tummy!
