The hotel room, with Alice looking like she is complaining about the choice in tv channels
The elevator
Then Alice had to do the same thing
Jane smiling with a pretty flower clip in her hair that she got for Christmas (it was actually in my hair, but she wanted to wear it for about 5 minutes)
The Goofy statue in between the 60's and the 70's buildings. It was a little fountain playground, but since it was about 40 degrees out, they didn't have it turned on.
Kevin trying out his skills at Twister
Jane showing us her moves
Big Wheels Baby! I loved mine. We used to ride it down the hill in our backyard in NJ. Good times. If you look closely you can see Jane and Kevin and the do not climb sign. These came out in the 70's.
Foosball anyone?
Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head getting a high five from Alice's frozen little hand as we headed into the 80's
Welcome to the 80's with a "little" Roger Rabbit action
Kevin and Jane sending me an email from the 90's
Alice chillin' by the steaming pool with the 50's jukebox in the back (it was getting a little late)
So we called it a night and headed back to the room. Alice trying out Daddy's gloves.
Race day! Yep, we did it again, got up at 3:30am and headed over to the starting line. That is Kevin's invention to keep the stroller dry and in this case the girls a little warmer. Jane stayed nice and toasty, however, Alice was a little frozen by the end of the race. We dropped Kevin off and then I walked the girls over to the monorail at Epcot, where we took the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. It was raining/hailing/maybe snowing a little bit. Fun weather.
Alice fell asleep sitting there, but woke up on one of the monorails. The girls waiting on Mainstreet USA in the Magic Kingdom for Kevin to run by. Shortly after this picture Jane fell asleep, so she did not get to see Daddy. We waited in the stores for most of the time until about 15 min before Kevin came by. Poor little Alice looks frozen.
Ok, so I am a horrible photographer. Kevin is right behind the man in the yellow shirt. He is wearing a maroon stocking cap and flourescent yellow shirt, but at least it was in focus!
While Jane slept, Alice and I killed time in the heated stores. She cracked me up. We looked at toys and had a little snack, then off to Epcot for the finish line where we froze and I didn't take any pictures.
Out of the cold and on the bus to take us back to the hotel
The camera had been so cold in the diaper bag that it started to fog up, so I cleared a little of the lens, hence the fuzzy outline. An exhausted Daddy and a happy Jane.
Yay Kevin!!!!! You did it! I must admit that this year I wasn't quite as inspired as in years or races past because of the coldness of the weather, but it was still exciting to watch for Kevin and cheer him on and see the joy on his face to see me and the girls as he ran. We love you Daddy! He finished with a time of 2:40:50. Not his worst time!

Great job Kevin! Very cool resort. While I was looking at those pictures of all the cool statues and themed decor I kept thinking, "We spared no expense." Disney really goes all out for everything! The girls are adorable even when they're freezing.
I'm so glad there are others crazy like us. We woke up at 3 am also and froze to death. Fun memory, though!!
Way to make it a yearly tradition, Kevin! That is cool...I am planning on running the Disneyland 1/2 this year...we'll see about another marathon later...I am sorry that you've been so old...no fun! Great Christmas, too!
