So if any of you have been to my house in the last 6 months, you've seen paint color cards all over my living room. I finally decided on a color and with the help of 3 young men in my ward who needed work to earn money for scout camp, we painted 2 walls and then Kevin painted the 3rd one! I am so excited. My sister, Beth, used to sell vinyl lettering and so I got the phrase, "It's good to be home." But I didn't want to put it up until I painted. Kevin is a huge fan of white walls, but I wanted a little color. It's not drastic, but it adds a lot to the room and makes the pictures and furniture look better. The color is called Garden Fairy by Valspar. We'll see what I tackle next. Oh, and a gigantic thank you to my wonderful husband who painted for me while I boogied the night away at a Relief Society pool party. I love you, Kevin!

Yes, those are all of our Christmas cards. It is handy to have a magnetic door. My nephew Joshua is in the picture too.

I even moved some of the furniture around, which is huge for me. I don't like change, deal with it well, but don't like it.

Kevin and I were doing yard work, so I set up the little pool for Jane to cool off in while Alice took her nap. She had fun.

The walls look great! How can Kevin be a FAN of white walls?! I feel like I'm in prison or something, when the walls are stark white!
The walls look fantastic. I can't wait to see them in person. We can't wait to see you guys in a few days. It will be so fun to have the little guys play together again.
