Tropical Storm Fay Day 3 (the end, hopefully)

Here are the previous pictures the next day. As you can see the water receeded pretty quickly, for the most part. It was nice out, so we all went for a jog and bike ride.
This is Riviera again. You can see the same white fence and mailboxes. Hardly any water left.

This is the canal the jet skiier was in.

Here's Kevin and the girls taking a jog. We needed to get out of the house. It was still very windy, but at least the rain had subsided.

That is insane how quickly the water went away! I would imagine you needed to get out of the house. We get cabin fever after a few hours! Glad everyone made it unscathed, at least in our family. Hope the rest of the season is easier...not that that was THAT bad, I'm just being hopeful!

Our water went away overnight too! It was amazing considering that peoples cars were flooding and neighbors were kayaking down the street! So did the water ever come into your house?

Wow, Fay wasn't bad for us at all! I am sorry!!! Have you seen anything from Gustav? Looks like we have three more storms to monitor! This season seems much much more active then last!
